The adventures have started!
We have been in London 2 days, and so far we've haven't even skipped a beat!
We had a rough start at the airport as I went through a very thorough pat down.
We finally made it into London after about 15 hours of traveling, we have a cute little flat in the basement-with our own bathroom! We decided that in order to get used to the time change quicker, we needed to keep ourselves up until it was nighttime here (we're about 7 hours ahead of the states). So we went to Picadilly Circus:
Where Addison saw his first West End show, "The 39 Steps". It was a little lame though...we could tell the actors weren't committed :(
Today, we had our first classes, and then had the whole rest of the day to ourselves. Therefore we decided to be apart of the excitement at Westminster Abbey-as wedding preparations were going on! Addison caught his first glimpse of Big Ben:
And the Thames:
People are crazy right now! The wedding hoopla is in full swing:
There are cameras everywhere:
There's a stadium being built in the church next door:
"Kate/Wills" (they add an "s" at the end of Will for some reason...) paraphernalia EVERYWHERE:
And people have been camping on the sidewalk for days now to catch a glimpse:
We finished off today with an INCREDIBLE show, "Jersey Boys".
We got AMAZING seats! Only 25 quid each!
We were on the 4th "logue" (or small balcony up).
Here's some pictures of the day:
This is the entrance Kate will be entering for the ceremony:
In the movie, "Sherlock Holmes", Sherlock jumps out of this side of the Houses of Parliament in to the Thames!
A giant wolf...made out of hay. I was really confused.
